Charlotte High School has undergone many changes in recent months including building a new 2 story campus building. Like many modern educational facilities it utilizes the internet to keep its students, parents and the community in touch with events. You can visit Charlotte High's web site here.

Punta Gorda's elementary education is served by the Sallie Jones Elementary School which was established in 1956 and has an enrollment level of about 700 students.

Punta Gorda also has it's own Middle School with a staff of over fifty teachers always striving to improve the education it has provided for over 25 years to several hundred students each year.

The Charlotte County Campus of Edison Community College is located on a 200-acre site at 26300 Airport Road near I-75. From 11 buildings in a beautiful and traditional setting, the campus offers a full range of higher education services.
